Fort Rot is a fictional survival-horror game by Altstead LLC. Solo and local play on this machine is free and is not timed. Online play (the live relay, rooms list, Quick Match, private co-op) is $5 USD per month to run the servers, after 30 minutes of free connected play per account, or per this device if you have not signed in. The subscription renews monthly and can be canceled any time in the Stripe customer portal. Optional player accounts use an HttpOnly session cookie. Horror, flashing effects, motion and loud sounds may not be suitable for everyone.
Settings and earned progress can stay on this device in localStorage
and sessionStorage. Signed-in play uses an HttpOnly session cookie
named fr_sid. A device trial cookie fr_did counts
connected online minutes when you have not signed in. Signing in does not reset
a trial already used on this device.
Online co-op sends temporary game data through the same-origin WebSocket relay. Occupancy on the title screen is an anonymous seat count. It is not a join.
Publisher: Altstead LLC. Stripe processes cards under Stripe’s own terms. This build does not collect tax automatically.
